Jonathan from MyMoneyBlog just posted a good comparison chart between 4 online bank, ING Direct, VirtualBank, Emigrant Direct, and HSBC Direct. Jonathan compared the 4 banks based on Interest Rate(APY), Minimum money to open an account, Minimum to avoid monthly fees, Download formats, Deposit Hold times(Days), BankRate Safety Rating, Number of external bank account links allowed, Opening Bonus Available.

After read through the comparison chart, my personal choice will be HSBC Direct. First the interest rate is high, 4.25% and opening bonus is $25. Anyway this is just my own personal choice.
