I always believe that to achieve financial freedom, we don’t or have to start and run our own business. I saw a lot of my customers achieve financial freedom without running any business. Just with the right money management and personal finance skills, they managed to achieve financial freedom without any business support.

However, if you want, really want, to start a business in your life time, then here are some simple steps that I think you should take to start a business:

1. Find your niche
First of all, you must find your niche market. I know, maybe it is easy to start a business around those category that many people are running now. However, if you do so, you will have a lot of competitors and your market share will be small. So why don’t you take some time to find your niche market. Be simple. Think about things that really can help a certain group of people and be the expert for them. Don’t bother how big the niche market is or whatever reason, just think about it. The key here is to fill a market void and you will make money from there.

2. Believe yourself.
Be confidence to yourself, trust yourself and follow your heart. Sometimes we must believe to ourselves and follow what we can think about. Possible we have some ideas, some great ideas, always have ideas to be success. However, most of them end up with giving up and think for the next idea. Why? Because we are not believe to ourselves. We can easily give up our good idea after hearing some negative respond from others or reject by others. But success people always believe to themselves and keep going. Here we can think about Colonel Harland Sanders who tried to promote his own chicken recipe no matter how many times of rejection from others.

3. Business Plan
Ok, times to think about the business plan. Ask yourself, how you going to make money from your business? This really an important step. We must clear cut and know the system that we and our employee going to follow. Maybe you should think about the mission of your company, how you going to market your business, what kind of business model you going to run, what is your plan for the next 5 and 10 years and much much more. Don’t bother about the right and wrong, just think and write down. As what I said in steps number 2, follow your heart.
