Deborah Fowles from About.com does a favorite for us and group the top ten online calculators for our personal finance usage. I run through all the calculators and some of them are really good for our financial planning.

1. Debt Planner Calculator

This is the most advance calculator that I found so far. It can support multiple credit cards calculation. First of all you key in your credit card information such as balance, interest rate and minimum payments. Then you choose a plan - pay minimum payments (calculate the time and total interest), fixed payments (calculate time for you) and debt free deadline (How many much you have to pay to debt free in certain time)

2. Save Money or Pay Off Debt?

Confused in making decision to save money or pay off your debt? I think this calculator can help you by giving some calculation report to you.

3. Loan Payment Calculator

This calculator can give you the results on how much you need to pay each month for certain amount of loan on certain interest rate. Besides that, it also can calculate the effects if you make extra payments. Just try and see.

4. Net Worth Calculator

Know your net worth by using this Net worth calculator. The only thing that I confuse is does a staff like jewelry or furniture is considered as your asset?

5. Spending vs Saving Calculator

What is does it worth to reduce your spending? Does it have any effects on your retirement? Try this calculator and you will know the results.

6. Roth or Traditional IRA Calculator?

Calculate and tell you how much you can contribute to a Roth or Traditional IRA.

7. Retirement Calculator

This is a must calculator for you if you are planning for you retirement. Use this calculator and you will roughly know how well is your plan working for your retirement.

8. Fixed Rate versus Adjustable Rate Mortgage Calculator

Another cool calculator that can help you to determine which kind of mortgage work best for you and your investments. FRM vs ARM

9. The Cost of Borrowing From Your 401(k)

Intend to borrow money from your 401(K)? Then use this calculator to know how much it will cost you before taking any decision.

10. Credit Card Chooser
    Help you choosing a credit card that’s right for you. Once you make your decision, you can apply online if you wish.
