Debt Control - Something to do on Student Loans

13 June 2006 No Comment

Student loan, one of the common loans for most people nowadays. Sometimes I really feel sad that even study can also make us drop into debt. So it is not surprise that every one in this world come out with debt.

ÂÂ

So how we got this debt? Simple, Going to College!

ÂÂ

However, one thing that I observe from those college students is their Financial literacy is low! Really low. They don’t know how to manage their money (Most of them). Even the student who study finance or accounting, which I think is money related and they should be able to control their money better, but they always disappoint us and fail to manage their money. So I found that they take out more in loans than they are really needed.

ÂÂ

A lot of students take out more than the cost of tuition so that they can live on the loan money. Some of them have the wrong mindset that they are able to settle the debt easily once they have their job. But in reality it is hard. My personal advice is don’t do it! Don’t even try to get more than that it cost of your tuition.

ÂÂ

So what happen if you really need money? Get a job! Millions of students have worked their way through college. So try your best to take out less than the tuition. Don’t because of the short term happy that make your suffer in future!
