The new relationship between bathrooms and your property value!
The MarketWatch’s Real Estate Weekly of Septmember first week is about how valuable of bathrooms in a house.
ÂÂ
According to the article
†A new study by the National Association of Home Builders shows that bathrooms, in fact, may be the biggest driver of home value. Using data from the American Housing survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, NAHB economists found that that addition of a half-bath adds about 10.5% to the price of a typical suburban home, while an extra full bath can boost that value by as much as 20%.â€Â
ÂÂ
20% of house value increased by a bathroom!! Pretty cool information, doesn’t it?
ÂÂ
Later in the article, comes out a even more convincing statement:
A midrange bathroom-remodeling job might be a better investment: For a national average cost of $10,500, you can expect to get back more than 102% of the outlay at sale time.
ÂÂ
102% increase is really an attractive number.
ÂÂ
I post this information to my blog and wish this post can remind you and I that there are always a strategy we can use to increased our house value - Bathroom. Of course I believe there is something we must pay attention on. Let me discover and share it here later
