Are you suitable to start your own business?

September 26th, 2006

Are you feeling bored with your current job and wish to start a business on your own? Then you must read on and find out - Do you suitable for business.

ÂÂ

Company Doctor, Scott Clark has a great article over Bizjournals.com that talk about the 11 personality of a businessman and from there you can see what make a businessman success. Below is the list:

ÂÂ

  1. Highly Confidence and Overly Energetic
  2. They strive to maintain absolutely control over their destinies.
  3. They are goal-oriented to a fault and they cannot tolerate mediocrity or failure.
  4. They are impatient and bored by the planning and administrative aspects of their company.
  5. They have large egos and tend to believe they are always right.
  6. They are calculated risk takers.
  7. They are good communicators who can generate enthusiasm within others.
  8. They are weak in money matters, seeing cash only as a means to an end, rather than as an essential commodity.
  9. They are totally focused on their own super-widget
  10. They often perceive themselves as infallible.
  11. They are visionaries

ÂÂ

I would like to discuss the #8 personality where “they are weak in money matter”. I don’t think they are weak in money matter but instead they are rather sensitive on this method. If we not sensitive enough to know the cashflow of our business, we are in danger! This is my personal experience.

ÂÂ

What do you think?
