Plan for Financial Freedom? It is more than money and investments

14 November 2006 No Comment

I just came across an article in about.com called “Retirement Planning is more than Money and investment" and I quite agree the idea that discussed over there.

Either you plan to retire normally or have a goal to retire financially free and rich, you must considered:

1. How will you spend your time once you retire, for example, travel and start a hobby.

2.Your health once you retire.

Both of the factors that I listed above are costing you money. Depend how you spend your time, activities such as travel do really cost you some money. For example, I plan to travel around the world once I achieved my financial freedom where I have enough passive income to cover my expenses. I love travel so I must plan ahead so I can enjoy it once I am totally free(in terms of time).

Another factor is your health. Usually it is hard to predict when our body will fall down and you need money to recover it. So it is better we plan for it. This is what those insurance companies always suggest people.
