Hi. My name is Harrison Loke. I am the founder, blogger and webmaster of Finandom.com. I born in 1983 and I’m 22 years old when I write this introduction page.

In year 2002, I decided to start my journey to financial freedom. I know this is the lifestyle that I want to have for the rest of my life. When I was 17, I met someone who totally changes my mindset. He is my mentor. From him, I know there is another world called financial free and rich. Yes, I know what rich people is. But I never heard the words financial freedom and also dare to think that I am going to be rich some day in future. What I focus is only to get a good degree, find a good job and be the middle class for the rest of my life.

After I understand what financial freedom is, I decided to start my journey and achieve it. In year 2002, I gave up my chance to study in local university. Instead I started working with my mentor as his apprentice. I help my mentor to run his business. Everyday, I learn a lot of knowledge about how to run a business, dealing with people and so much more. And I don’t think I can learn all these information from a book. I think these knowledge is what we always call experience.

I met a lot of customers. I can divide them into groups. The first group is those who are struggling financially and live from paycheck to paycheck.  They are stress and suffering because of debt and credit problems. All this because of the way they manage their money. Their financial literacy is low and they don’t know how to handle their money wisely until the end of the day, they put themselves into the hot water.

Another group is totally different. They are not rich but they can take out extra money at anytime they want to. They don’t have to worry about money. They simply have the financial security and freedom that the first group doesn’t have.

It is really sad to see how people struggle financially. Therefore I decided to write down whatever I know about money to help them. I want to let more people know the world of financial freedom. I want to share with them the money managing tips that I learned from my mentor. This is why I start Finandom.com.

The words “Finandom” is a combination of financial freedom. Finandom.com is a web site that I want to share all my experience, my learning and my knowledge that I gain in the process to achieve financial security until the level of  financial freedom. All the information about money will be shared over here.

I’m not a financial expert but I think my knowledge that I learned so far do have some value to help people. At least my mentor has proven to me that that money management can help a lot of people.
