Some big Changes on My blog

First Changes : Finandom – My New Blog Name

If you follow my blog all the time, you will find that I changed my blog’s name from Journey to Financial Freedom to Finandom. Actually this is an advice from my guru in a blog mentoring program where using a domain name as my blog name is better. My readers can remember my blog easier. In fact, all the time people refer to my blog as Finandom blog instead of Journey to Financial Freedom. So I think it is time for me to change my blog name to Finandom.

What is the meaning of Finandom? It actually is a word that I get by combining both “financial” and “freedom” together. It is a word with the meaning of financial freedom that made by me. I hope with this easy explanation, you can remember my blog very well. ;) www.finandom.com

Second Changes : Targeted Topics for this blog

I have been blogging for 3 years. I really learn a lot from this blog and you guys. So I think it is time for me to select a few targeted topics for this blog. If you have a look at the header section of this blog, you will come across “Financial Literacy, Offline and Online Business”. Yes, I will concentrate on the topics of Financial Literacy, Offline business and Online Business.

In Financial Literacy, I will write more about the tips about how to manage our money and make better financial decisions. At this moment, I am concentrating on the topic of Steps to getting out of debt and the basic preparation for your personal finance. In my 6 financial levels, I explained that these 2 topics are the way to increase your level from in debt to break even and prepare for the coming up levels. My goal is to provide the complete information that can help people get out of debt and achieve financial freedom or even achieve higher success level in personal finance.

Offline and Online Business, well they are the main income sources for me in my plan to achieve financial freedom. Offline business is business that we are running without using internet as the main channel to make money. In other words, it is a small business and in most cases, you need to rent a place, hire some employees to run the business. Its benefits are tax deduction, provide job opportunities to market and let me buy assets using its credit. Online business, on the other hands, is a business that use internet as the main media to make money which you can run your business with just a PC and internet cable. It is a good way to generate excessive cash in the shortest time. Of course, we only can achieve this after paying some hard works. So I’m going to share all the tips and information that I found for both offline business and online business here. So stay tune for my updates.

That’s all for the big changes of 2008 in my blog. If you have some kind of interest in financial literacy and business, you can subscribe to my Finandom updates below. There are 2 ways to do so – RSS and email. With the new changes, I hope you will enjoy you stay and get at least some kind of benefits over here. Thank you.

Space Travel - Another Good Motivation to Get Rich

February 4, 2008 · Filed Under Announcement · Comment

I love travelling and I’m interested in any kind of ways to travel. Last Thursday, I read an exciting news from my favorite Travel Blog, Jaunted that you have a chance to travel in the space with just $200,000. Basically, I think $200,000 is quite reasonable to have a trip to the space. All the while I just think that it will cost us more than million dollars to have a chance like this. According to the news, the cost will come down by 2014 too!

As if we needed any more hype for Richard Branson's new commercial space flights, the brash billionaire hosted an event at the American Museum of Natural History yesterday to unveil his new Space Ship Two. The six-passenger pod will loft astronaut wannabes to an altitude of 68 miles. The cost? "Only" $200,000 a ticket.

Of course for that price you'll get a good view of the Earth below through 18-inch windows. Flyers will also be allowed to move around the smallish cabin for part of the flight and enjoy 4.5 minutes of weightlessness.

While Virgin still has some testing to do on both the passenger pod and the mothership that will carry it into the upper reaches of the atmosphere, the company seems totally serious about actually flying people into space. The first trips could happen as early as 2009, and Branson says the cost will come down by 2014. Start saving those nickels and dimes now, kids!

Do you feel the motivation? I’m motivated and it is time for us to make more money for this exciting space travel. ;)
